3. Not Financial Advice — Detailed Disclaimer
3.1 Solv Finance is not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the Securities and Commodities Authority (UAE SCA), or any other financial regulatory body in any jurisdiction.
3.2 The FIRE Calculator provides mathematical projections based on inputs you provide. These projections are hypothetical, depend on assumptions that may not materialise, and are not predictions of future investment performance.
3.3 The Tax Estimator provides rough estimates only. Tax laws are complex, jurisdiction-specific, and change frequently. You must consult a qualified tax professional for actual tax advice. We accept no liability for tax assessments, penalties, or losses arising from reliance on the Tax Estimator.
3.4 Solv AI is powered by a large language model. Its responses may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate to your specific circumstances. It is not a substitute for advice from a human qualified financial professional.
3.5 Investment values can fall as well as rise. Past performance is not indicative of future results. Nothing in the Investment Hub section should be construed as a recommendation to buy, hold, or sell any asset.
3.6 Cashback and reward calculations are estimates based on the rates you enter. Actual rewards may differ due to terms and conditions of your card issuer.
4. User Accounts and Responsibilities
4.1 You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
4.2 You must provide accurate information during registration. You may not impersonate another person or use a false identity.
4.3 You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the financial data you enter. We do not verify, validate, or audit any data you input.
4.4 You may not use the Service for any unlawful purpose, including but not limited to money laundering, fraud, tax evasion, or any activity that violates the laws of your jurisdiction.
4.5 You may not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or otherwise misuse the Service.
5. Data and Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
You retain ownership of your financial data. By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to store and process your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
You can export or delete your data at any time via the Settings page.
6. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, design, and content, is owned by Solv Finance and protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your own personal, non-commercial finance tracking purposes.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or sublicense any part of the Service.
7. Limitation of Liability
Solv Finance and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to: financial losses, investment losses, tax liabilities or penalties, loss of data, or loss of profits, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or £100 (or equivalent), whichever is greater.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without any warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses or other harmful components. We do not guarantee the accuracy of any calculations, estimates, or AI-generated content.
9. Third-Party Services
The Service uses third-party providers including Supabase (database and authentication) and Anthropic (AI). Your use of these features is also subject to their respective terms of service. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or actions of these third-party services.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms.
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the delete account feature. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
11. Changes to the Service and Terms
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes where possible.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify registered users of material changes by email.
12. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where mandatory local law provides otherwise.
If you are a consumer in the EU, you may also be entitled to submit a dispute to an alternative dispute resolution body as required by EU law.
13. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining Terms will continue in full force and effect.
